We are on the other side :-)

Today was Logan's very anticipated surgery! We had to be here at Children's for 9:30 for all of the Pre-Op paper work and test. Originally his surgery was scheduled for 11:00, but due to bad weather and flooded street, it was pushed back. It was after 1 p.m. when they finally took him back. The operation went exceptionally well and he had minimal blood loss. Right now we are on the 4th floor recovering! So far he has done pretty good, kind of in and out of it, but overall well. There were a few occasions that he started crying pretty hard, but he was quickly comforted by my touch and voice, so the nurse said :-)!!! He is on pain medication every 2 hours, or as needed and Ibuprofin for the swelling! Pics from todays events will be posted soon!
