Today Mommy and Daddy went to The Blood Center so Daddy could donate blood in case you will need a blood transfusion! We found out a couple weeks ago that you are O+ just like him! Mommy and bubby are both A+ so our blood would do no good for you. Well just a little info-- Daddy is scared of needles, always has been & always will be :-) I must say though he was very brave and didn't even flinch! He was fine until he looked down and seen how big that needle was, then he got a little queasy! Mommy couldn't help but laugh because being pregnant 2 times and having 7 back surgeries, needles are a 2nd nature to me! But about 5 minutes after the stick the bag that will follow you into the operation room was full and Daddy was all done! The phlebotomist (sp) told Daddy all the things he need to do and avoid for the next couple of hours and then daddy was free to eat some treats! He liked that lol! On our way out they gave him a T-shirt, umbrella & an ice-cream scooper for being such a "good boy!" Everyone told him that they were proud of him and that he did a great job! I think they may have been a little afraid that he would pass out haha!!! Here are some pictures mommy snapped!
